Just Adopted!
Milo ID: 13649
Current Location: Foster Care
Come meet these sweet, shy boys at our next EAST BAY MOBILE adoption event. Saturday March 13th. 12-4 PM, at PET FOOD EXPRESS. 51st Street @ Broadway in Oakland/Rockridge.

Foster notes: "Athos and Porthos are two shy, five-month-old brothers from Kings County. Athos is soft brown, larger than his brother, but also more timid. Porthos is soft gray, smaller, but bolder. Initially, they are so shy that they hide most of the time, but will “consent” to being caught for petting. For the first few days they will stay out only when you’re petting them; once you stop, they scurry back to their hiding places. In a few days, though, they’ll overcome their shyness and become much more social. They are the most well-behaved kittens we have ever fostered. If you want the playfulness of kittens, but don’t want to deal with other kitten behaviors like climbing up the drapes, knocking over the plants, or sticking their noses in your dinner, these little guys are for you. They love playing with the laser pointer, and will hold ferociously onto the end of a cat dancer. As mentioned, they will overcome their shyness to be held and petted. You can even put Porthos around your neck, and wear him like a fur collar! The boys enjoy snuggling and playing together, and get a lot of reassurance from seeing the other one around. They should be adopted as a pair."
