| Foster bio: "Meet the handsome and impossible-to-photograph Tarragon!
It's a shame that I just had a "Nigel" as a foster, because I would have
named this cat Nigel Tufnel in a second. Why? Because when it comes to being affectionate, this cat "goes to 11." Or, maybe more like "12". He gives
human hugs. He's a purr-monster clown. He was purring in the carrier in the
back of my car, after sitting in a carrier all day long, on the long trip up
from Kings County. He seems to like chasing the laser pointer, and is
extremely active. Tarragon is also a talker, and if you sit down he WILL be
in your lap. He seems to enjoy being carried around as well. Kings County
listed him as two years old, but I'd guess more like one year. He's a
lighter brown tabby and is fairly small at about 5-6 lbs. It looks to me
like he has some growing to do.
Oh, and then there's the tail... Tarragon has the funniest and most
expressive tail ever attached to a cat. If your average cat 'speaks' with
their tail, then Tarragon recites Shakespeare with his. It's something that
must be seen to be believed.
Tarragon would make a great cat for someone who really enjoys having a very active and curious 'velcro cat' that's always by their side (or in their
lap, on their desk, while in the bathroom, typing on their keyboard, making
their dinner, eating their dinner, sleeping in their bed, etc)." |
